Wasatch Intelligence

We’ve watched hundreds of hours of people actually using AI. Most consultants are guessing.

Wasatch Intelligence is built on an unusual vantage point: years leading program management at a UX research firm that studies how people use AI products: real businesses, real users, real work. We’ve watched what clicks, what confuses, and what gets quietly abandoned three weeks after the big rollout.

Behind that sit eight years of managing teams and programs, many of them fully remote, with research into AI adoption across a wide range of industries, from automotive and education to clinical work. The pattern is the same everywhere: technology succeeds when it fits how people already work, and fails when someone tries to bolt it on from the outside.

We started this practice because small and medium businesses are being sold AI hype by people who have never watched real adoption happen. Most SMBs don’t need a transformation. They need three or four specific changes, implemented carefully, with the team trained to run them. That’s the work we do.

We’re based in North Salt Lake and work on site across the Salt Lake City metro. For remote and distributed companies, we work wherever your team does.

How we work

  • In person first. Remote when that’s how you work.

The real workflow never matches the org chart, so we sit with your team whenever we can. Distributed company? We’ve managed remote teams for years and run the same process over video.

  • Your workflows, not our favorite tools.

We don’t resell software or take referral fees. Recommendations are based on what fits your business, period.

  • Nothing ships without your team trained on it.

A tool nobody uses is worse than no tool. Every implementation ends with your people running it, not depending on us.

  • Honest about what AI can’t do yet.

Some of your problems aren’t AI problems. We’ll tell you which ones. It saves everyone time, and it saves you money.
